Durham University for Summer Study Courses

Durham University provides accommodation for students during term-time, but during vacations the Colleges have hosted Summer Study and Summer Academy courses for many years. Accommodation is in comfortable en suite rooms. Our distinctive buildings are set in landscaped grounds in a quiet location, within easy walking distance of Durham City.

The Durham experience is one to remember - for all the right reasons. This beautiful city with its impressive castle and magnifient cathedral is a world heritage site. The sweeping horseshoe meander with its steep and wooded banks provide a truly wonderful setting - a rural city! The narrow winding streets of the ancient city centre are quaint and full of character - all providing a peaceful and relaxing environment.
